Bitterness and resentment
Consider how much more you often suffer from your anger and grief, than from those very things for which you are angry and grieved. ~Marcus Antonius
Bitterness is like taking poison and waiting on the other person to die from it. ~ Phyllis Dillar
Thought for the day, how many people do you hold grudges against? Do you find that you are holding on to grudges for years even? Do you have several people that you find yourself "not liking" because of things that have happened in the past?
Stop and think about it. If you are holding grudges do the people you are upset with even know? Does it bother them? Have they lost sleep or even given it a second thought? How many times has it crossed your mind?
How important are these grievances in the grand scheme of things? Is it worth holding on to?
I encourage you to liberate yourselves and forgive, and most important.. FORGET!
Think of how happy you can be, my friends, if you let those things go and never let them bother you again!
There has been a situation in my life that I've come to see differently in the last day and I have to tell you, it is pretty great to have this sense of freedom.
Life is GOOD
